What Xperia buttons do you map to by default for SHOOT and JUMP? I'm trying to write a USB/BT Joystick Center config file to allow this to be played with a Wiimote.
Thanks to you allowing control remapping, I can use my "generic Xperia controller" driver and remap SHOOT and JUMP to SQUARE and TRIANGLE - but I'd rather not make the end user change these settings.
A lot of "Xperia Play" games seem to have a similar problem - they code to Xperia standards, but for some reason, the buttons they THINK should work by default - don't.
So which buttons are mapped by default? The DPAD mappings work out of the box - just want to dial in the buttons.
Bought GMC on Android. Love the shaded graphics and gameplay. Looks like a real old school console game. Also, just bought Helium Boy as well. Can't wait to see what you have more in store. You are officially my favourite indie mobile game dev.
Well the PocketGamer review has been really good for GMC: http://www.pocketgamer.co.uk/r/Multiformat/Gunman+Clive/review.asp?c=39875 And there are other good reviews too: http://toucharcade.com/2012/04/13/gunman-clive-review/ So good luck with sales!

Thanks. Look forward to your reply.
Hi, it works with iCade? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteYou can make it work with iCade. You'll need to use USB/BT Joystick Center.

Go there, get the iCade generic config.
Then you can remap the controls inside the game to the iCade controls.
Thanks, but iCade is for iOs. Maybe blutroll, but before buy it, I will it works...
DeleteNo it's not, but good job believing it is.
DeleteIt's a bluetooth controller.

Like this kinda frustrating game...
ReplyDeleteCan I have a code?
Hey, great game! Fantastic art and excellent levels. Please add iCloud compatibility so I can sync level progression between iPad and iPhone.
